Why Amanda built Beacon

Hi, I'm Amanda: a mom of two under two, wife to my supportive husband, and proud dog mom to two lovably chaotic pups. We're just a regular family from Indiana who loves golf, basketball, and cheering on our Purdue Boilermakers.

When I found myself in the depths of the postpartum season, I searched everywhere for something, anything, that truly understood what I was going through. I needed more than generic advice or clinical resources. I needed a companion that could meet me in those 3 a.m. moments of doubt, the overwhelming waves of emotion, and the isolating fog that no one really talks about.

I couldn't find it. So my husband and I decided to build it ourselves.

Beacon was born from my own experience navigating the beautiful chaos of early motherhood. Our mission is simple: to ensure no mother ever feels alone during one of life's most transformative, and challenging, journeys.
